The inspiration for "Spring Chippy" came during one of my morning jogs. When I am out jogging most mornings in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts, I often look out at the woods on either side of my country road. I think about the tiny world that exists among the leaves and grasses of the forest floor. In this little painting I wanted to capture that world from the perspective of a wee little woodland creature like this Chipmunk.
This is a little 5 x 5" India ink, colored pencil and watercolor painting framed in a lovely Frosted Hunter Green metal frame and can be purchased here.
